Exporting Test Cases

  • User can define which fields to be exported, please refer to: User Settings

  • All fields in Jira instance will be exported if these is no settings done in User Settings

Importing Test Cases

It requires proper permissions listed below for Jira user whom is going to do test case import:

  1. Jira ‘Create Issues’ permission

  2. Jira ‘Modify Reporter’ permission

  3. TestRay ‘Manage Test Cases’ permission

  4. TestRay ‘Manage Test Suites’ permission

  1. Go to the ‘’Test Suites’’ page.

  2. Click the ‘’Import Test Cases’’ tab.

  3. Click ‘’Import’’. The TestRay Importer page appears.

  1. Click ‘Browse’.

  1. Browse to the test case import file and click ‘’Open’’.

  2. Click ‘’Next’’.

  3. Select the appropriate value in JIRA Field column.

  1. Click ‘’Import’’.

Note: This will create test cases in the ‘’Test Suites’’ page.
